DFA paintings finished!

finished up these digital paintings:




the purpose of this painting was to design the character, and to practice this painting technique.



this was the painting i was working on earlier. changes since the last post: cropping, new face, and over all new detail. honestly, i don't consider it a really good piece of art, but i learned a lot in the process, especially about working with a tablet and digital painting.

Thanks for the compliments... Love the paintings. Were these done with a wacom? I need to go back to color theory 101. I totally agree with what you said about the colors. Ive been playing "Graphic Designer" since I graduated from College and am attached and brainwashed by the Pantone system. I'll try to work on that this weekend. Again, Thanks! This blog thing is great for feedback!
